Introducing Stone by Stone Psychology’s online community.

Are you a highly sensitive healer?

I am creating a free online space for early- to mid-career healing professionals who are building businesses, de-pathologising the human experience, and figuring out their path as psychologists.

Purpose

This network exists as a space for mutual peer support, connection, and reflection - a place where we can:

  • Share experiences and challenges with peers who understand the career journey

  • Support each other ethically and professionally while navigating the messiness of life and work

  • Share appropriate referrals within the trusted network

  • Learn from being new supervisors and teachers in the fields we reside in.

How we’d connect

  • Regular meetings - some clinically focussed (client presentations) and some system focussed (professionals in the field)

  • Facebook group or WhatsApp

Orientation

I’m looking for people who share these values and ways of working:

  • Curious and reflective - open to learning and exploring their own growth, engaging in journalling, somatic practice or other ways to slow down and consider what occurs for us and for the client.

  • Ethical and integrity-driven - committed to practicing responsibly within their scope

  • Sex-positive and inclusive - affirming diversity in sexuality (kink, desire & BDSM friendly), gender, neurodivergence, and lifestyle

  • Intentional and self-aware - valuing thoughtful communication, mindfulness, and self-compassion.

  • Learning to incorporate personal voice, lived experience, spirituality, and somatic experiential techniques into their practice.

  • Navigating being a Highly Sensitive Person.

Therapeutic style

My work is grounded in strengths-based, positive psychology approaches, including ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, EMDR (new to this space) and Schema therapy (relatively new to this space). I integrate mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed principles, and am committed to slowing down and forming safe and trusting relationships with my clients. I am eclectic in my approach and offer different styles and approaches in service of what the client needs. I lean on lived experience, parallel processes with the client, transference/countertransference, Jungian principles, and my intuition. I am learning how to safely and ethically incorporate spirituality based learnings.

If you’re navigating major transitions, identity development, recovering from perfectionism and burnout, trying to break away from colonialist, white-centric ways of delivering therapy, or building your own practice, and you’re looking for a values-aligned peer community, this network is for you.

Let’s connect, share, and grow together - supporting each other in taking up space as helping humans.

Only the wounded physician heals... and then only to the extent he has healed himself.
