This developmental phase is generally characterised by identity exploration, changes in relationships, jobs, and living situations, developing independence and self-awareness, and all the ‘in between’ child to adult milestones. Changes to session times need to be made with 48 hours’ notice to avoid missing the session slot and receiving a cancellation fee. A cancellation without 48 hours’ notice will incur the cost of the full session. For clients utilising a Mental Health Care Plan, a Medicare rebate is not available on any missed sessions.

Yes. To claim rebates through the Medicare Better Access Scheme, you need to obtain a referral from your General Practitioner or psychiatrist. They will prepare a Mental Health Care Plan which you should send to me before your first appointment. Please click here for more information.
