Therapy
Therapy is a space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s been happening for you, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.
People come to therapy for many reasons, sometimes because something feels overwhelming or painful, and other times because they want to understand themselves more deeply or create meaningful change.
Whatever brings you here, therapy offers an environment to reflect, ask questions, and move forward.
My approach to therapy is thoughtful, relational, and always led by you. I aim to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and genuinely human, one where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start.
Together, we work to understand your experiences in context, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop self-awareness to facilitate change.
How We Can Work Together
I work with adults across a range of presentations, with particular interest in:
Identity exploration
Gender and sexuality
Self-criticism and building self-compassion
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Exploring the internal impact of external systems (workplaces, organisations, family of origin)
Therapy with me is informed by a flexible, integrative approach. Depending on your needs, goals, and preferences, I draw on a range of evidence-based modalities, including:
Mindfulness-based approaches
Systemic and relational perspectives
Each of these areas links out to more detailed pages, where you can learn more about how therapy can support you in those specific ways.
Fees for Therapy
All therapy sessions are 50 minutes and offered online.

You may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) through Medicare. To access this, speak with your GP, Paediatrician, or Psychiatrist (please note that mental health assessments require a longer appointment booking).
With a MHCP, your referring doctor can initially refer you for 6 sessions. After these sessions, you’ll need to return to your doctor for a review. If appropriate, you may then be referred for an additional 4 sessions, bringing the total to 10 Medicare-subsidised sessions per calendar year.
The Medicare rebate is $145.25 per session (as of July 2025).
You are welcome to bring this template to your GP.

If you have private health extras cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate for your psychology sessions. Please check directly with your health fund to confirm your level of cover and eligibility.
A doctor’s referral is not required for self-funded or private health appointments.
Please note that you cannot claim both a Medicare rebate and a private health insurance rebate for the same session.
