Welcome
Being a helping professional is a calling like no other, and like everything we put our heart into, it can come with turbulence. Supervision should be a supportive and reflective space - a place where you can bring your whole self, explore challenges without judgement, and grow in confidence and competence as you get to know your own parts. While we learn a lot from theory, we learn so much more about others (and ourselves) from working with fellow humans. I am honoured to be a board-Approved Supervisor; my role is to guide, gently challenge, and walk alongside you.
The guide below is designed for you to understand my supervisory frameworks, how I like to work, and what you can expect.
-
My style is casual, curious, and warm. I aim to balance support, reflection, and skill development, within a space that encourages personal and professional growth.
Supervision is lead by you. I encourage you to bring topics/themes/ideas you’d like to explore within the session and follow your lead when it comes to the support you are looking for.
-
You are encouraged to bring presentations to supervision to learn skills, explore formulations, and gain a better understanding of your clients.
To give you an idea of where I come from:
I currently work part-time at a hospital with paediatric chronic conditions, as well as paediatric transgender and gender diverse populations. There is a large intersection with neurodivergence and disordered eating presentations within these cohorts.
Previously, I have worked with paediatric eating disorders (mainly Anorexia Nervosa and ARFID), and acute mental health presentations on a mental health adolescent ward (personality vulnerabilities, and families with complex trauma and psychosocial needs).
I started as a psychologist working within a non for-profit trauma organisation where I saw children and their families who were struggling with harmful sexualised behaviours, out of home care, and sexual abuse.
I have primarily worked with children, adolescents, and families. I work from an attachment-based and systemic lens that orients around an individualised formulation, and the majority of my work has been within multidisciplinary teams.
In my current online practice, I work with people who are exploring their identity, gender and sexuality, perfectionism and overcontrol, and unpacking internal impacts from external systems (their workplaces, organisations, family of origin).
-
A brilliant previous supervisor once told me that it doesn’t matter where you work or who you see as long as you “never worry alone.“
Carl Jung said; “We don’t get wounded alone and we don’t heal alone.” This is true for clients and health professionals alike.
My north star for the supervisory relationship is creating a safe and approachable space for you to slow down, explore different possibilities, and look for meaning in our work.
-
10-15 minute complimentary phone call to ensure I am the right fit for your supervision needs.
Supervision length: 50-60 minutes.

Supervision pricing is $230 + GST (so $253.00).
For supervisees engaging in ongoing or longer-term supervision, I am open to discussing a reduced rate to support continuity if cost would be a barrier.
-
I am currently not approved as a primary supervisor for those undertaking higher degree pathways such as Clinical Psychology.
While I have experience conducting cognitive & neurodevelopmental assessments, I do not consider myself an expert in these areas.
